About Aiman Kumha

Serving most recently as Director of Imaging Services with the Tennessee-based Parkridge Health System, Aiman Kumha entered the radiology field with a solid educational background. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Northeast Louisiana University and a second Bachelor or Science, this time in Nuclear Medicine Technology, from the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation School of Allied Health Sciences. Aiman Kumha maintained a 4.0 average GPA at the Medical Foundation School and received the Greater New Orleans Medical Physics Award from Northeast Louisiana University. He currently holds American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation to use ultrasound, cross-sectional imaging (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems.

Upon completing an internship, Aiman Kumha joined the Christus Schumpert Health System in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he served in several positions throughout his 15-plus years with the institution. During this period, Mr. Kumha attended and graduated summa cum laude from Ashford University with a Master of Business Administration. Subsequently, he accepted the post of Regional Director of Radiology. In this role, he was responsible for the comprehensive breast-care department in North Louisiana and supervised the radiology department, catheterization lab, and biomedical engineering divisions for three of the institution’s facilities. Serving as Regional Director until 2007, Mr. Kumha helped establish long-range projections and financial strategies for the breast-imaging center and participated in the health center’s Mentorship Program, where he demonstrated to physicians the use of modern mammography tools, ultrasound, bone-density readings, and biopsy procedures.

In his post at the Parkridge Health System, Aiman Kumha, was in charge of imaging at two institutions in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area: the Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge East Hospital. Under his leadership, the image services center increased its Employee Satisfaction Survey score from 30 to 95 percent.
